AutoLISP is a programming language designed specifically for use with the full version of AutoCAD (i.e. it does not work with AutoCAD LT). AutoLISP is one of a number of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) built into AutoCAD but it is probably the easiest to use and therefore the most productive for the beginner.

Download the LISP file; Load the LISP program. There are several ways to load AutoLISP program, but this is the easiest way. I wrote the code to run when I type LB then [enter]. You should be able to use it after you load the program. You need to click twice: the point you want to label and label location. It will use leader command.

I do not know how Rhino can handle display of the AutoCAD dynamic blocks without fully supporting the feature. But maybe Rhino can open file so it looks like it does when AutoCAD opens it. Prior to opening the DWG in Rhino, the DWG file was modified by the undyna_block.lsp posted by the AutoCAD guru, Lanny Schiele.
Does anyone know how to write a lisp file that will use data from Excel to draw something. I want to enter coordinates of points in Excel, and to create lisp file which will use these coordinates to draw lines, circles etc.. Thanks in advance.
The file will be opened like any other 3D file with the exception of the new “Extrude” window: The setting entered here will tell MeshCAM how thinck to make the new geometry. If you’re just trying to cut flat stock then you should make the distance equal to the thickness of your stock. For the example here, we’ll use .125”.
